Activities and Initiatives: Judiciary

Legal Education and Training - Educational Outreach of Judicial Training Centres in the Arab States
Beirut - Lebanon, July 15-26, 2002.
Organized by: United Nations Development Programme - Programme on Governance in the Arab Region (UNDP-POGAR), the Arab Fund and the International Development Law Organization.
The course falls within POGAR�s Legal Education and Training activity aimed at enhancing the quality of legal education through focused judicial training. As part of this activity, judicial reform and e-government training courses were held in 2002. The Courses were funded by the Arab Fund and UNDP-POGAR, and executed by the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) - formerly the International Development Law Institute, based in Rome.
