General Assembly Resolution 64/16 (2010) [English][Arabic][French].
This resolution requests the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, established under General Assembly resolution 194 (III), and other United Nations bodies associated with the question of Palestine to continue to cooperate fully with the Committee and to make available to it, at its request, the relevant information and documentation which they have at their disposal.

On 15 November 2006, the Council adopted resolution S-3/1 in which it called for a High-Level Fact-Finding Mission (hereinafter High-Level Mission) to be established and for the mission to travel to the town of Beit Hanoun in the occupied Palestinian territory of Gaza, following Israeli military operations carried out there around 8 November 2006. The Mission was mandated to assess the situation of victims; address the needs of survivors; and make recommendations on ways and means to protect Palestinian civilians against any further Israeli assaults. The President of the Council appointed Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa to lead the High-Level Fact-Finding Mission, and Prof. Christine Chinkin of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as a member of the High-Level Mission.
